Ki is building the systems to reforest more efficiently than any other drone (or human for that matter). Our machine learning software identifies ideal sites for tree planting, taking into account the optimal density and distribution pattern for the terrain to ensure every seed is in the right spot. With fully autonomous drones, this innovative tech is rapidly scalable.

Trevor Grant

Founder and CEO

Founder and CEO of Ki, Trevor is a lawyer in the construction and energy infrastructure industries with over 15 years experience. He has held Senior roles with companies such as Siemens, SunEdison and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories. He is highly adept in commercial transactions globally, with project work in Canada, United States, Europe, India, China, Japan, South Korea, South America and the Middle East.

Nick Kadysh

Co-founder

With over a decade of experience as a Public Affairs and Regulatory expert, Nick Kadysh is the founder and CEO of PharmAla Biotech, a Toronto-based Life Sciences company focused on the manufacturing and development of MDMA and MDXX-class molecules. Prior to launching PharmAla in 2020, Nick led government relations and regulatory departments for many corporations, including acting as Head of Corporate Affairs for JUUL Labs, as Government Affairs & Public Policy Leader for General Electric Canada, and as Director of Public Affairs for Red Bull Canada. He has also worked as a policy advisor at the Parliament of Canada.

Gabrielle Kaufmann

Gabrielle is a lawyer with 20 years’ experience in infrastructure and technology sectors including power generation and nuclear / R&D with a focus on innovation for safety, security, health, environment and clean energy technologies. She has extensive experience in large power generation infrastructure builds and was responsible for establishing the framework for the development, construction and operation of a first of it’s kind small modular nuclear reactor project.

Scientific Advisor

Fatima Mahmud is an accomplished environmental scientist who holds an MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto and a BSc from the University of California, Berkeley. With expertise in research, data analysis, and project management, Fatima has contributed to many international collaborative research projects focusing on drone/UAV technology, aquatic/marine ecology, terrestrial ecology, and environmental conservation. Her communication skills and leadership experience have enabled her to excel in her work, secure partnerships, and manage projects in various roles. Overall, she is driven by a strong sense of purpose and a desire to make a positive impact in the field of environmental conservation and sustainability, utilizing her extensive knowledge and dedication to research.
